Hello one, hello all:
Just a heads-up. I've been working on a new, 'episodical' story as of late. By episodical I mean that the chapters are fairly short, yet still manage to end on cliffhangers (I hope...).
Here's the layout. It's stationed in real life, around the 16-1700s. In the story, elves are a real race that separated itself from humans after one of the elves disobeyed their joint king and formed the 'dark' elves. They now live in a separate dimension, but some have traveled over to our world and in rare occasions actually intermarry, giving birth to half-elves.
The main character of the story is a half-elf named Tanya. An orphan, she is forced to wander the streets of Muslo, a city that lies on a large trade route leading from France to Spain. She is often treated rudely because of her physical beauty. However, a mysterious stranger saves her from the grasp of three drunken traders one day and reveals himself as an elf. They go on a quest to find the person who murdered Tanya's parents and mete out justice - but that's not the only obective they find themselves discovering.
Interested? If you are, then my job here is done.
Haha no, really, I'll post the story when I finish it, in a year.
